this is very beautiful. for someone as young as nessa to go through profound loss and honor the person she loves and misses. i lost my best friend (adopted brother the same age) at age 17, and i like how she can be hopeful in her music despite how said grief can be. there’s a bright side, it’s the ones you love and the memories they leave you with. i miss him every day and try to live for him every day now that im 20. that’s irreplaceable. nessa’s healing is shines so brightly, and i hope it stays that way.
