China defies the UNCLOS international rule based order.
The Philippines, US, Japan and Australia must build a strong military force in the Philippines to deter /counter China's aggressive territorial expansion and uphold freedom of navigation.

I smell something fishy here.

After they take Taiwan, they will expect a reaction from the US. And with that they might see a possibility of a reaction coming from the Philippines. Regardless of the support coming from the Philippines, in any possibility it might hinder them of taking and holding Taiwan so, depending on the reaction of the Philippines, they have to consider planning a optional objective on taking also the Luzon and Visayas.

Considering a reaction from the Philippines, they will only take Luzon and Visayas. Mindanao won't be a problem because they have Duterte over there.

This might be the scenario:

Like what the Japanese did, they are going to bomb Hawaii and Guam, but this time with ICBM's. Successfully crippling the Indo-Pacific Command. After that they might take their main objective and take Taiwan. Depending on the PH's reaction, but with the MDT, the probability of the PH joining US against China is very high.

They might take Luzon through Cagayan and Pangasinan and then Visayas through Samar, to aid their landing in Bicol. And make a pincer movement to Manila like what the Japanese did during WWII. This time there will be no Corregidor moment. ONLY bloodbath.

I think the Defense Secretary is aware of this possibility so let's hope that none of this will ever happen.
