Logistic Population Model (use Separation of Variables) and Euler's Method in Differential Equations for Numerical Methods course (Numerical Analysis course) Lecture 25 at Bethel University, St. Paul, MN, Spring 2020. This is a calculus-based advanced undergraduate numerical analysis course. In this lecture I review the logistic population model, shows how to solve it using separation of variables, graphs solutions in the slope field, uses a solution to solve for populations and times. Then we move on to approximating the solution by introducing Euler's method. Euler's method is implemented on a spreadsheet and in Mathematica.
