They modified yeast to do similar things like this, including cannabinoids in yeast to make it much faster than plants.. wouldn't it be faster to make the thyroid enhancers in a modified yeast instead?

a bottle at sea here (for Dr Bruce Bugbee): Hi, I've been searching for informations about how to devellop bigger and longer pistils on my plants (to improve safran crops, and maybe get nice looking cannabis buds) but i don't find any infos on the subject. Have you done any studies on the subject by any chance ? (i try to understand what kind of nutrition, stress, and light spectrum is needed to get bigger and denser pistils). So, Dr. Bugbee.. is this technically considered a (G M O) cultivar of lettuce?
Would this type of lettuce be possible in nature without a lab and human constantly reproducing the gene and inserting it into tissue culture and seed stock, for example?
