The Poorhammer boys are going to lose their minds if that War Dog boxed set happens. Something like a year and a half ago they literally predicted that as the Chaos Knights' answer to Valourstrike Lance boxed set: 'just make it like 6 or 8 War Dogs and call it day, GW. That's what Chaos Knights has to play anyways.'

Thank you for covering chaos too, feels like we're the unloved children of games workshop but I don't care : I love my world eaters and my chaos knights, and I'll probably play emperor's children too in the future. It doesn't matter if we don't get our second wave anytime soon as world eaters, I'll stick with them.

That world eaters combat patrol sounds like an upgrade. Isnt the demon prince box 72$? 2 characters, 2 infantry boxes. You'll be getting less models but more points per dollar. I could be wrong.

The original combat patrol for WE was good but our codex is just bare af and now we aren't getting any new models? At this stage I'd be happy if WE just got access to some generic CSM units and HQs if we aren't going to get new models.

Before releasing new chaos knights, they should try to find a way to make any of them usable.

Honestly, , considering the high, high price of the Daemon Prince kit, that still should be a worthwhile box -- imagining you need everything in it.

Have you heard anything about what WE are getting in terms of new models? From what you've said about the combat patrol I'm terrified it's literally just a brand new WE dedicated MoE model (Custodes Shield Captain style) which is the absolute last thing we need

Lord Invocatus + 10 Jakhals + 20 Berserkers = £161.5
Daemon Prince + Master of Executions + 10 Jakhals + 10 Berserkers = £149
The enshittification continues with a reduction of value in the box, a Daemon Price makes it slightly more tolerable but the Master of Executions is just a piece of turd, another warehouse clearing for GW.
