In the shop today we battle with this post placement. There were some interesting fixes on this car that we didn't discover until after we started chopping it- but hey it just kept this car alive that much longer so I'm not mad! We get asked about positioning the posts all the time- so here is how!

Hey Dan, I was caught off guard when you mentioned the septic problems at your new home, but was pleased at the way you handled it, with a joke & a smile, I think you guys are Awsome!!! From someone who watches your videos on a regular basis, I’m a retired mechanic, 68 years young, so don’t be to surprised at the type of people watch your content.the world has all kinds, lol
Ok so keep it going on bro, it’s a good thing.later 👍🏼

Taking it all in stride, I love how calm and collected Dan always is, no matter the issue. Very refreshing on a Sunday. Goes down well with my bloodymarry! Hope you guys are enjoying the new place. Amazing work space, cant wait to see a lift in there.

Tri Five Ground Hog Day. Dan, your Day just keeps repeating itself. I'm glad you can keep motivated on those Tri Fives
Myself I would do 1 and be done. Keep up the good work.

Saw a guy in Red Deer at the swap meet, since you live in Berta now, with a 57 four door but he shaved the handles off back door and the seams were close. Still can open back doors with electric opener. What a concept

The driver’s door adjusted just like the GM factory did it. Glad you’re keeping the car original. Cheers!! 😎

Soak the lock mechanism in a bucket of rust remover, worked great on the window mechanism on my 62 impala years ago, a good soak over night and your good to go

You said you miss Mur. Maybe rent a Uhaul then he can load up with the tools you need and Tri 5 parts then he can visit. After get him a plane ticket back home. 😁

That's 14 hours back in a big U-Haul, with free door center posts, toolboxes, equipment and any other parts you can squeeze in. ;-)

Muriatic acid works wonders on rust use. extreme caution
burns and fumes. I dip small parts (like door latch mech ) then straight into water. Repeat until clean
