Do you lower SBP to < 140 mm Hg in Hemorrhagic stroke?
I think that is Class III (Harm)
Goal must be 150-220 mm Hg Systolic

I would like to ask about my case... I was brought to a emergency hospital after getting a blood pressure measurement in a pharmacy... First, i had 196/121... I was asked to rest for 20 mins and then repeated the procedure. My second was 191/121. I was asymptomatic. I only felt having a pulsating headache. It was not too strong but a little fastidious. After being admitted in the emergency hospital. They took another bp measure and i got 209/125. They injected me with a lasix (diuretic) after 1hr (i urinated twice) they took another measurement and i decreased into 193/120. They adviced me to go to the emergency ward in a polyclinic. They took control of my ecg and blood analysis and after 4 gruelling hours they said that everything is normal but i have to call my family doctor for the prescription of amlodopina. Was it a normal response??? Must i not have a deeper over all test of my body of i am really ok? I doubt. I was expecting they would do an extensive check up because i am asymptomatic. What can you advice me? Thanks for anyone who can give response.

Pregnancy...less than 160.  In severe preeclampsia usually want BP between 140-159.  Dropping too low decreases perfusion to placenta.

How long does it take to recover from a hypertensive crisis? How many months?

Mine is hypertensive every day. Last week it was 227/140. It's been this for at least three plus years. I can't do anything yet doctors say I'm ok but I went to cardiologist for 32 year for MVP and the other side regurgitates too and aorta stenosis but he retired about 8 years ago and I've tried multiple doctors and went to ER 6 times and only once they gave me nitro and I crashed and passed out. Lost my memory for about an hour. All this could have been avoided somehow. I never smoked, drank and ate and exercised enough. After trying so hard 45 years to be so healthy I now have something with my heart they won't say, my lungs, stage to kidney failure, bowel disorders, colitis, divorticulosis, something with enlarged intrahepatic and extrahepatic biliary ducts are enlarged. My life is over. I sit and look out at the birds and sky and all I'm missing.

Hi 👋 thank you for your video much appreciated from a student. Could you /anyone here give me some advice on a case. 31y/o female presents with chest pain and SOB. Sats are good at 98%, pulse 110 BP 202/112 Initial blood work was fine at her GP earlier that day. ECG normal. Medication-she is taking lithium. What is your thought on hypertension in this case with normal bloods(we will repeat as was 12 hours ago) so this would be urgent hypertension but she is having chest pain so that would make it crisis? Sorry if this seems stupid for a first year but I am a little confused with vitals elevated and bloods normal. I know with angina troponin is only seen in around half patients ? I appreciate any help thank you
