Money is definitely a major source of well-being in my life. Thanks to financial resources, I can afford to live in a home that fulfills my needs and get support in keeping it nice and tidy. Thanks to my good job I also have a lot of flexibility in when I perform my work and can be much more relaxed around when I wake up or when I open my computer. It’s these small blessings that I am very grateful for and that make me enjoy life way more than a few years ago when I wasn’t able to afford this lifestyle. At its basis, money is the crystallization of time and effort. I would rather spend my time lounging on some beach in an exotic tourist locale, and I'd rather spend my effort driving a new car than trying to fix up an old junk.

Not being on that beach and fixing up an old car would make me unhappy, therefore money can indeed buy me happiness.
