It's not that big of a deal but to me it's crazy how far we've come in technology. Some people don't see it as a big deal since they were born in this generation but to some, starting your car from your phone is mind blowing considering we used land lines back in the 80s and 90s and when wireless land lines came out it was a miracle. Then cell phones came out and it really felt like it was from a movie. Now none of that is even considered cool. It's just crazy, I'm always amazed and kinda worried about how far and fast technology is growing.

There are some things that should be standard nowadays but aren't, like using your phone as a keys (house/vehicle), ID .We already use them for banking and payment method .I'll forget my wallet/keys first before my phone.





For those of you that are going to say "what if they steal your phone? "
To unlock said car/home, biometric authentication would be required every time, just like your banking app .without the owners the phone is useless.

That trunk is pretty small compared to the massive trunk Space I have in my beautiful 1977 Continental Mark V. And you can open the trunk from the convenient button located in the glove box !

Now i get to conveniently pull out my phone and navigate to the app, wait for it to load and find the open trunk button, which is way faster than just pulling a latch with my one free hand anyways!

Tesla had their phone as a key app about 8 years ago. Having a key is way more convenient and faster because you don't have to wait for a web server to load.

Ha. They wayyy behind. Tesla did that ages ago, with much more features. And you don't even need to pull out your phone. Oh and tesla can have a pin code inside to start up if you want
