Derek Banas  I want to convert my App Inventor app to Java, but it has multiple screens. How do I do that in eclipse?

Quick question I'm confused about why you use .Vibrate() on a sound file? Surely the vibrate method would attach to the screen or something similar?

Hi Derek, thank you for the tutorials. I followed both tutorials and copied/paste the source code you provided into the project in the eclipse; the eclipse didn't show in errors regarding the codes; but when I tried to run the program it gave me this error: Variable references non-existent resource:
Any clue?

Do you have to set up the in my case the activity_screen1.xml or will the Java activity code generate the xml manifest. I am having errors with the xml fioles and the java file. I want to use the libruntimesimple.jar file because I have to use 5 FusionTables controls and I have out grown the MIT app according to memory limits. Im building a large app with 5 screens and 50 icons and image files are costing a lot of memory storage space. It will need to be professional. I am at a loss with gettng the Java code to run. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Hi derek
What's about dragging buttons, images or items !! Is there any tutorial about this topic? For example if pull the image over another image you will get a third one.

Derek I love how you transition from one screen to another. What software do you use?

Derek Banas , The url  for the Java Bridge API does not exist anymore. Is there another link that I can go to?

You mention in the description that the Ai2LiveComplete adds a ton of additional functionality. I'm wondering if one of those would be the means of keeping an app running when the screen goes to sleep?? This seems to be a major drawback of App Inventor for me. For example: I created the No Text While Driving app but when the screen goes to black and screen locks the app stops working. It then resumes if you wake the phone and unlock it.

The AIServer & the Build server for Ai2_offline wouldn't initially start (on Windows 10).

To get the AIServer going I edited the cmd to have the actual path to java
(c:\program files\java\jdk1.8...blah blah blah ) in quotes, instead of the %java_home%.
But the export func doesn't work..

Couldn't get the build server going..

Any idea where the Ai2offline saves projects?

... I think I might just go back to Netbeans lol

I know this isn't the place to ask this, but do you happen to have lectures on java collections framework, that stuff really confuses me.Any information on how to go about it would be helpful. Thanks
