Signora Rebeka is a great soprano. She sings the aria with such a pleasure and joy. Her voice has very warm quality, much better than Dessay, Damrau and Gruberova. She should appear constantly on the international stages. The art of belcanto is still alive!

She is better than these singers because Dessay is criticised for her last Traviata, Gruberova doesn't have good low register and she is already in decline, Damrau - just listen to her Ah non giunge. In comparison, Signora Rebeka has an even, pleasant voice with easy high notes.

Agreed the middle register an coloratura is wonderful. The upper register is too wide and unfocused. She has much potential.

Only high talented and outstanding artists were, are and will be criticized, but only those who never stand out and are "good" always will be praised for their "normality". Yes, Rebeka really has "an even a pleasant voice" and sings good and professionally, but in no way outstandingly, but Dessay is a great artist, Gruberova already remained in the story and Damrau is one of the greatest Queens of the night of all times. Remember, only talent-free artists are never criticized.

She has a wonderful voice and I'm sure she is going to have an important career. This is a very difficult aria and she handles the agility passages very well. However, the top notes, contrary to what I have read here in the comments, sound forced and uncontrolled to me and consequently too open. I'm sure as this singer matures, she will have more control of her technique and voice and produce these top notes with more nobility and less volatility.

She reminds me of a young June Anderson. Same sized voice, I just hope she doesn't push it like Anderson did. Stick to lyric bel-canto a few light Verdi, Musetta and Mozart. No Norma!!!!

I like her enormously but...this piece is too heavy for her voice now...coloraturas are fantastic and clear..top notes..soandso...she will certainly be better in the future..

Every new soprano who appears on the scene  nowdays wants to sing great belcanto  pieces with lots of coloratura passages but with so many of them now it is not easy to stand out. This soprano has a nice voice reasonably good technique but her top notes are too forced and uncontrolled and there is no vocal colouring at all so the whole piece sounds very monochrome and monotone.  Perhaps she could try a more lyric repertoire.  The belcanto/coloratura scene is already pretty crowded.
