As the parent of a newborn, there are so many little things that pop up that can often make you feel a little stressed or worried, wondering if it's normal or not.

While this is normal for new parents, in many cases there’s actually nothing to worry about. We both know that as a new parent, there’s already enough going on. The last thing you need to be doing is stressing about things that you don’t need to be concerned about.

So in this video, hopefully I can help put your mind at ease a little by walking you through five things that often cause new parents a lot of stress but don't have to.

I hope this helps!

I came here to basically repeat what everyone has been saying. I've been following your channel since I was pregnant and overwhelmed with video suggestions. Now I only watch your channel because you give the information in a non-judgmental and reassuring way. My son is now 8 months old and am now feeling more confident in my ability as a parent thanks to your videos. ❤

My baby has been feeding for 2-5 minutes during the day, and gaining more than enough weight (got from 6th weight percentile after birhh to 30th at 5 months!) People keep telling me its too short, but I know my flow is fast and she's latched well, so thank you for that reassurance!

I’ve been following you for a few years now and your video is the only child development series I watch. Thank you for making these videos and for updating with new content regularly! We appreciate it so much.

Emma, you're the best thing that's happened to me since my second baby was born. I swear I committed all the mistakes with my first, and to this day, we have a very tumultuous relationship. 😅 My second is such a chill baby from birth on and your videos have helped me to be a chill mom too, so I'm having a much easier and more enjoyable time second time around. I wish I could be so chill with my first, working on that right now.

This is so true. My baby would only feed for 5 to 6 minutes each session but was gaining weight just fine.😊

How long should you play with your baby on their back? Our son is 9 weeks. We hold him most of the time that he is awake.

Do you have something like this for parents of teenagers?!? 😆😆😆

Thanks @emmahubbard does the not spoiling with attention apply to a 5 1/2 month old who wants constant attention? For the last 5 weeks, my baby has been crying so much during the day- even when all her needs are met. She is almost colicky. She stops crying when I pick her up. I simply don’t have the capacity to hold her all day. Please help I’m going crazy and google is not helpful at all! Do I attend to all her cries and hold her or just let her cry sometimes?

Is there a danger in reaching milestones too early?
My baby is walking while holding onto objects before 6 months, and I'm not sure what to do with this 😅

Thank you for the great channel! Breastfeeding is becoming unbearably painful for my wife. We are wondering what your recommendations are for nipple shields and their occasional or frequent usage. Thank you!

My 1 month old has very long wake windows almost 3 to 4 hours😢 although she is feeding well

My baby is almost a week old. I feel like there’s no time for Tummy Time because he is always needing milk or a clean diaper when he’s awake. Otherwise, he’s sound asleep. I don’t want to disturb his sleep for Tummy Time…

Hi, thank you so much for your videos. They have been great help from day1. So my baby is almost 4 months old and she is not taking any formula milk. She is not accepting any bottle. I even pumped my milk and tried to give it to her through the bottle, she doesn’t take it but latch on breast straightaway. Tried mam and tommie tippie bottles so far. Been trying for over a month, no luck.
I am worried she will not take the bottle at all. It is stressful and draining to only rely on breastmilk.
What can you suggest please? Can I start with solid or is there any other way to give her the formula milk?

Love your videos! My baby has gained weight a little more rapidly than normal. She is in the 97th percentile. Does this mean she will be overweight when older?
