This is great for players like me that started three months ago. Nico and Hope are two cards I need in my collection

(Proxima too, but I don't really play discard)

Edit: I think you're dramatically over-representing meta-relevance with respect to Nico and Hope. These cards are way more flexible than you're suggesting and the meta isn't nearly as solidified in this game as you indicated

I like the Diner, its awesome actually, cant complain about free stuff. Just play about 3 hours a day and i got the cassandra variant, just wish they have more tables between the higher stake tables. 1mil and 25 mil table. The gap there is where the real grind is for me.

I appreciate a week without cards. Too hard to keep up.

I didn't like Deadpool's Diner until I got the hang of it and realised I needed to be patient and let the magic of exponential growth do it's thing.

I’m so happy for a week like this. It lets people take a break to save their tokens and helps newer players catch up. I wish they did this every couple of months

I like the variants but it's all about resources

I like having one week where there are no new cards and was never a fan when they changed the system from having one week without a new card to a new one every week. However, I am not the biggest fan of putting a card behind a grind. It is already grind enough for me at the start of every season to get to Infinite and having another grind to get a new card just burns me out. I am definitely on the more casual side, so the grind does take its toll.

I got Proxima from the copycat spotlight and since I don't have enough for a decent discard deck I used her in a Dracula dump deck with black swan, she's actually really fun and if instead of infinaut drac discards proxima that's 14 power just like that

Nico and hope are must have cards for people who don't have them. Also proxychan is a great card. These variants are really good ones also. Personally I don't mind a week of no new cards if they're good cards.

I'm tempted to open for Proxima, but I don't need her enough.

No new card means more resources saved. For older players this is an easy skip. For newer ones, a card or two among those might be what they need. So this is a win for both sides. How I wish we would have a free card per month like this Diner event and one spotlight week where we can save because no new card.

Hope is must have imo and she goes in much more & better decks than only surfer, a lot of the Kitty, Thena deck’s, even in Shuri or High-Evo she fits in, depending on your CL you will always find a deck and get value out if her

I like the Diner for the fact that SD is trying new things and, overall, I think it's a win. What's frustrating, though, is that everyone seems to be playing the same Arishem deck which is boring AF....lol. Thanks for the video and love the SnapCon segment at the end!

Deadpools diner is great!
It would still be good even if there wasn’t a card waiting behind it
The extra rewards we get for playing can help a lot.
