For those of you who have come here to learn the ENTIRE dance, I present my way of learning dances, with separations of the dance parts:

1. First you should study the beat of the song, so that you are aware of the timing of the dance moves. Most people that would like to learn the dance would probably know the song enough, at least to memorize the rhythm.

2. Learn the dance in segments. If you jump into learning the whole entire dance, then you may learn it... BUT! You might miss a few parts, not master the movements, or just have a difficult and long practice session for any day you practice.

3. If you are dancing with a group, discuss the placements with your team. Otherwise, it will be hard to tackle the dance, and might even distract from the moves while you are focusing on your placements.

4. If you want to learn the dance COMPLETELY, and want to know each and every step properly, then you should study their every movement step by step. That way, you will be able to adapt to the movement, and remember it each time you dance. I highly suggest slowing the dance down in the beginning, and putting it back to its normal pace once you've adjusted to the slow-mo version.
