I mean, that makes a lot of sense. It's like in FNAF 3, Springtrap has a walking animation when he's seen at the front window. His render is cut-off but looking into the code makes you see Springtrap's full animation. His legs doesn't seem to move, because why animate them when you can't see them.

Actually Nikson joked about this on his dev video explaining behind the scenes in the game, that these were just quick models from mixamo that he used and didn't bother modeling because they wouldn't be seen by the player anyways.
