Walmart Spark First Day Ride Along!... (Better Than Instacart?!) Today I did instacart and had my first day driving for walmart spark. Walmart spark seems to be one of the most popular gig apps to use right now with high pay for curbside pick ups. No shopping required. There are walmart spark shopping orders, but I have not tried them yet.

I am a gig driver that mostly uses instacart to make some money, this has been my full time job for almost a year, and I have learned alot over that short period of time. Hoping to share tips and advice with you all!

-Users must be using the latest version of the app and have a connected payout method (Venmo or Paypal) in order to qualify for the Solo subscription bonus.

Always take the picture, even if they met you outside. It's your proof that the order was delivered. Several drivers got in trouble because some idiots reported there order wasn't delivered. Also if I have time between orders, I'll do doordash to keep from waited 40 minutes

Yeah, I like spark. Not to many shopping orders, less miles and time. I just have trouble keeping the tank full while I do spark. I usually do like a full day of instacart on a busy day, get my gas money up then, do spark all week. Sometimes I'll make over $1200 when I do that.

Whatever you do, get out of the car and assist the loader curbside pickup. Keep two order's separate. One in the trunk and second back seat. Tip baits is just internet crap. I usually never get tip baited. It happens but not that much. Most people want their groceries on time.

To avoid waiting just chill at home until you get orders. Rather than sit in your car and do nothing, also I recommend tracking your miles for your tax write-offs

Get to Walmart at seven in the morning. You will get all the over flow order's from last night. Morning is good. So is early evening. Goodluck!

Put those stickers on a bag if you have a double order it’s very easy to mess them up. They usually have 1 sticker on each of the crates at the curbside. Just pull one off yourself.

I have tried for 6 months to sign up for spark. Im having zero luck with the ddi sight. I get on the log in page and check my status and it says pending. After weeks I check im unable to log in. After jumping through hoops and logging in, im on a white screen that is completely blank other than the "support" link on the page which does nothing. So frustrating.

I work in Walmart's Online Grocery Pickup dept. I actually watch you all the time bc I do Instacart, too, so thank you for your videos!

I made a few notes while watching your video. Hopefully some can be helpful to you (and other new Spark drivers) 😊

-It's best to park in a spot closest to the orange door. If spots 1-3 are open, don't park in spot 7, etc
-Feel free to ask an associate for extra bags. They usually have a ton back there and can just grab some for you. There will definitely be some times you'll need to re-bag stuff.
-Don't call when you get there if you've already checked in (unless you've been sitting outside for more than five minutes or so and no one has come to you)
-Don't back in🙏🏾
-Please leave enough space in your car for big orders. Walmart will let customers order like 10 cases of water etc so just make sure you have space for orders that 😅
