'Azarkant', sci-fi short animated film, Andrey Klimov, 2013, Russia

In the future, a team of astronauts are sent on a ten year journey to a distant planet to find new life. On their way, they encounter a large, abandoned spaceship that is drifting in the orbit of a mysterious planet. They board the ship with anticipation of the great discoveries to uncover inside. However, they do not know what terrible secret this spacecraft keeps -- a nightmarish threat which is far bigger and scarier than anything they could have imagined.

I didn't give a thought to what looked like Master Chief, or the Terminator or whatever! I enjoyed this short video and appreciate all of the work that went into it. Would love to see a full length movie or series!

Анимация немного дубовая и звуки выстрелов прям уж совсем так себе, но в остальном - очень и очень достойная работа.

Really well done, need more animators like this, even better if they collaborated to make something truly epic and feature length! It really had that atmospheric terror, like in the Alien series, also kind of reminded me of Warhammer 40k space hulk just because of the size of that ship.

This was a fantastic short film. For what? 8 and a half minutes I was glued to the screen! The animation was beyond excellent! I don’t care that I maybe didn’t “get” the whole story, but what I got was worth it! Talent like this needs nurturing, at the very least our support. This person and their team is incredible. All I can say? Do more!!
