Don Allphin fishes the last day of the 2021 kokanee season on Flaming Gorge in the Sheep Creek area. He jigs for kokanee salmon staging for their spawn. The photo is of JR Brown, a close friend and fishing buddy who caught a bright red kokanee on the previous day to the filming. Don uses Kokanator lures made by P-Line in the 1/2-ounce weight. Don rides in a Triton Bass Boat, uses a Minn Kota Ultrex 112-pound trolling motor equipped with "spot lock." Don also uses Lowrance fish finders as well as Humminbird with I-Pilot. Don like Gary Dobyns rods, Quantum reels, and Berkely maggots.
