Run a garden hose under your fence below the first board. Go 50 feet and drop a head at each joint. That's what I did so I don't have to move sprinklers anymore. Put 3 on a zone and add a timer. Only trenching will be at the house to the fence. Use an edging shovel and make a slot. Easy to dig and it doesn't have to be deep. If the hose ever goes bad you can pull it up. The freezing doesn't damage the hose. That's how we do it at "Ratino's Small Engine & Landscaping." 🐀🐾

I've been using these for 3-4 years now and have about 5 total across my yard. Even had my neighbor ask where I got them from and he ordered his last year and loves them. Another thing to get is the quick connect with the "air pump" attachment to push any water out of the cylinder to winterize. Trick: there's a small screw on top of the canister towards the sprayer to change the width and height of the water coming out; very handy for creating a mist and for slopes in the yard.

Exactly what I've been looking for!!! I spend too much time watering by hand.

I just love when people throw out perfectly good stuff they could have easily given away at local thrift store or at least put out at the curb for others to see.

FYI. Another reason people do not water lawn is because we live in Utah which we frequently forget is a desert. Love your ❤beautiful lawn. Thanks for sprinkling info.

I have these! I just wanted to see your video bc when I bought these 2 years ago, I could find any video reviews. They work great, go out, connect and done.

Just trench a line and install regular sprinkler heads. It is so easy to do. If you don't want to use solenoids wired to a control panel just send them to one quick connect with 4 or 5 on that line. You can have multiple heads and lines and just hook the hose to the main inlets around your yard. Wiring to a control panel via solenoids would also be easy for your yard because it is all open grass, so don't be scared to go the fully automatic route if you choose.

My neighbor just installed a Rain Bird 32ETI system. Just saw it in action today and it works great for the two heads he has in his backyard. Full coverage for about 3, 000 SF. He has more on the side of his house (misters) and another unit for the front. Sure, there are trenches that needs to be dug for the connection hose, but you never have to go out to move your hose from one head to another so I see that one-time labor as an overall time saver for the number of times you have to move the hose from head to head. Also, I'm just not fan of having that connector sitting above ground and being seen all of the time.

Rain Bird also makes a similar hose connect system, LG3HE, that is better in my opinion because the entire unit is below grass level. It's bigger than this, so the hole's a little larger, but no hose connection just sitting at ground level waiting to be hit be a lawn mower or weed eater, or becoming brittle from constant UV exposure.

You can make these yourself but with better popups, Rainbird/hunter. But also if you really want popups just lay the line. It doesnt take the lawn long to recover.

Never seen these before and first time to see your video. I will look into it. I already use above ground but have spike heads and they stay put. Just run the hose long the house/fence and in one spot I buried it. I might try putting these in "permanently" and just run hose to each pair like I do not with above ground units. I will check out more of your videos. Thanks!

Thanks for making this video. I have been looking for a solution like this and was thinking of making my own but this product will save a ton of time for me. Also, I have that same B-Hyve system and those are great! Highly recommend.

I'm gonna do something like that in my garden area, where I have above ground white PVC that cracks every year.

I bought this online today....thank you for sharing! I wish I found these quick-snap sprinklers sooner. I can burry the hose underground in my yard to have a more concealed look ;)

Thank you!
