Champion - The Rise and Fall...And Rise Again

Champion is a clothing brand that was really popular in the 80's and 90's, fell off tremendously soon after, and has recently been making a comeback. It's actually a more significant company than we tend to give it credit for. This video talks about all of it and attempts to give reason behind these fluctuations.

I remember when nobody wore Champion when I was in High school and when somebody did they made fun of the person. Now kids are wearing it which is weird.

My Mom said when she was young it was a big deal to have Champion clothes. When I was young I thought Chapion was cheap Target clothes. Now they do collabs with supreme.

The reason it’s back is the HIP HOP COMMUNITY being nostalgic for what was popping in the Late 80’s, early 90’s. Same reason FILA and Sergio Tachini are back up.
