A great discussion of the science behind loneliness and clues that a person may be lonely...factors that maintain loneliness, and so forth. Aside from surveying the problem, however, there is little information on how to solve the problem or strategies a person can take to increase their social involvement. The discussion leaves one to wonder whether Heng's book would be more solution-oriented

Thank you so much Simone and Mo! This talk has been so helpful and timely for me! I definitely will get the book and follow Simone as much as I can. I am so so sorry Simone has to experience the pain she goes thru with her mother. My life with my 85yr old mother sounds identical to hers. I do isolate outside of my Church visits and work. I will try my best to connect at Church and work the book. Thnx again and God Bless you all.

Mayhaps some day someone is not only telling ppl to look for ppl to talk to but also address the problem of asshole therapists treating wounded ppl like trash who then feel even more lonely and are avoiding the hard search for yet another asshole therapist...

One Love!

Always forward, never ever backward!!
