One of the best bits of her appearance was when she was asked why she refused to be interviewed by Channel 4 News on a subject that is obviously so relevant to the channel, to paraphrase it was basically a petulant "because I don't to". Remember when we had real politicians and not Fast Show characters in charge of this country?

If you are feeling low listen to Nadine for 30 seconds and she might put a smile on your face. In my eyes she is useless as a politician just like the government of the day. On another level if you are serious about life, listen to miss Black of the SNP who spoke volumes about the state of the politicians today. For such a young member to speak so was amazing. She totally put Boris and the tories to shame. Her speech was up there along side former great leaders ie Churchill.

Dorries is arguing for privatisation of Channel 4 despite overwhelming opposition, which she appears to be determined to ignore. This is the mindset of someone who believes that no organisation is worth anything unless it can be used to make money for its owners. Accountability? Fluff. Public service? Pish.
