I just sold my home outside of Ft Myers. I went there one week ago to pre-sign the papers. Closing day is 8/9 (wassupposed to have been 8/22, but the buyer was slammed by his 1st mortgage company just before and he had to get another.
Lost $14K because SWFL nows requires that you get a 10+ yr old roof redone in order to sell it, necessary/not!!! Please explain that logic?!
New roof and it still blows away want to say to add insult to injury for that poor family). Or the house becomes submerged, but only the roof survives!
So the remaining 4 insurance companies will now be leaving as well, correct?! At some point, FEMA won't even be going back.
