Gil Lê, whose real name is Lê Thanh Trúc (was born on July 8, 1991), was a Vietnamese singer, actress, and presenter. Gil Le was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City. From the age of 17, Gil Le started joining the Wepro company to officially join showbiz as an MC. When pursuing a musical path, Gil became a pretty popular B-Girl in the Saigon Underground. Gil Le came out of the program " House of dreams: Sáng bừng sức sống", a former member of the group X5 under the guidance of musician Duong Khac Linh, which was established in 2011 through this competition. Gil Le is in charge of rapping. Gil Le has been active solo since 2013 until now and is known as a singer, MC is well known, loved by the audience, the image of a strong and beautiful style is like a male god and an influential person in Vietnam. In addition, Gil also has many other talents such as being a VJ, acting in commercials, cooking, and is very good at martial arts. Few people know that Gil Le used to be a prizefighter and studied many different subjects such as wushu, judo, Wing Chun... and most recently, MMA at Lien Phong dojo taught by Johnny Tri Nguyen.
