Tommy pretty please add Dublin to your tour, I can't be the only one here! I'll pay for ten seats myself.

Tommy is to the guitar what Bruce Lee was to martial arts.

@KeithBeardGuitar These new videos were filmed at the studio of Tommy's friend, Henno Althoff. We used two microphones and took a direct line out of the guitar using the Maton pickup and microphone on board. Also in the mix is a bit of the camera mic (Canon 7D) Henno did a superb job on the sound! Glad you are all enjoying this series of videos. FYI, each one was one take ;)

You can really tell that this guy just enjoys making music. In all of his videos he's always got a smile on his face. This guy isn't looking for recognition, he's content in just sharing his gift.

I've been a blues guitarist for most of my life. I'm now getting into fingerstyle. And this is beautiful. Now... to sit for hours on end learning this.

I love how much fun he’s having while playing, even though he’s played this song many many times. Emmanuel is truly in love with the music and I’m here for it.

Tommy is not just a great guitar player and an amazing human being, he is also a very well dressed man. He sure has a great taste in men’s fashion.

Seriously, if you don't like this, what could you possibly like and still call music?
This song is magnificently :)

It's inspiring to see that just playing his own music gives him a constant smirk on his face.

I love how you can tell what he's feeling by looking at his face. A good line, he likes the way something sounded, he's feeling the song or anything positive and he's got a slight smile while nodding. If he mutes a string or a line wasn't as clear as he knows it could be and he's shaking his head. Showing that you're emotionally involved and trying to emote that through the guitar and body is what really helps get your audience to pickup what you're trying to lay down.

The only thing that is more awesome than his skill is how much he enjoys playing guitar.

The hard part is not learning a song like this, it takes some time, efford and getting used to his playstyle but its doable. The crazy thing is composing these pieces....

Last night we saw you perform in Gladstone, Qld! met you afterwards & i kissed your hand ..hoped by touching those wonderful hands would breathe some of your beautiful talent across. i am self taught on piano from age 7 & guitar from age 17. I pick n strum together, this feels right for me... You are a pure maestro of music, rhythm, storytelling, spirit & life... Love all that you do xo

We all have distinct talents. Tommy's is one we all envy. Yet how many of us are willing to dedicate thousands of hours over our entire life to achieve this level. I am honest...not me.

Every time after hearing Tommy play, I go back thinking I'm going to break my guitar, only to end up playing/practicing for 2-3 hours straight!

this is what an instrumental song should be; a feeling that requires no words to be expressed or to connect with the listener
