In the City of Bellingham, Arthur Thomas is being charged with the crime of washing his car. Many other cities and counties in Washington State have passed similar ordinances or codes under pressure from the Washington State Department of Ecology. The goals of the ordinances are to punish citizens for washing their cars because it might pollute the environment. It is also convenient revenue collection. Solution: Call lots of friends to show up in FRONT OF THE DEPT OF ECOLOGY, and wash cars with the media present. Lots of people, mock the tyrants.

Wow. I am so amazed that a city actually cares about their environment! It's an outrage! An outrage I tell you!

Seriously, one could easily see a lot of things in that video, Mr. Morgan:

1. He said he had 3 full time employees. Yet... yet... there were a heck of a lot of garage doors shown on that video. It begs the question: why are there far more garage doors than full time employees? Would it have anything to do with paying low paid workers a bit more because they're full time? And what are the economic circumstances of the non-full time employees or contractors?

2. How much waste chemicals was this facility putting into the ecosystem? And how dangerous were they? Nobody except people in his economic circumstances ever had to wash a fleet of trucks when they were kids. That argument is risible. Some of your readers just might have lived in families that didn't own cars. Who did what aside, though, like most conservative arguments, yours is ultimately devoid of crucial facts.
