My fav is when a customer calls 30 seconds after the delivery guy leaves wanting to come in five minutes after to do paperwork, Its not like we received 50 boxes of stock order too. Then they get pissed when we tell them its not ready for pickup yet.

I live in CO and 3 day waiting period was just passed. I just went in today just to fill out my background check and the guy said I can pay when I pick up in 3 days. The best thing about the waiting period is honestly not waiting for DOJ, watching the clock, driving around the area for hours, hoping the store doesn't close with my gun still inside.

To answer his question it has been my experience it takes about 45 minutes from the time I walk through the door to the time I walk out with my new gun. With my gun shop it's normally a pleasant experience since they give me a beeper & in the meantime I can go to the firing range and or look around for other items I'm interested in.
