Welcome to lecture 1 of Math 202 - Calculus 2 as taught at the City College of New York.

In this lecture, we give a brief intro to the class (which had to be cut short because of, shall we say, technical difficulties at the beginning), talk about some common mistakes to avoid and jump into our first topic--inverse functions and a formula to find the derivative of an inverse function at a point. We do some examples.

In the next lecture, we will talk some more about inverse and move on to logarithms and their derivatives in the next lecture.

Professor Jhevon Smith, thank you for a great Introduction to Functions/Inverse Functions and their Derivatives. These are important topics in all levels of Mathematics. Professor Smith, the positive encouragement that you give to all your students in the first lecture is excellent. Remembering all the Mathematics up to Calculus Two is a statement that students should take seriously in order to pass this and related Math classes.

Where can I find the additional math videos created by the previous course supervisor you're talking about at the very begging of the class?
