Queen Sofia was born Princess Sofia of Greece, the Oldest Daughter of King Paul of Greece. She married Juan Carlos I of Spain and is the mother of King Felipe VI of Spain and the Grandmother of Princess Leonor of Asturias and Infanta Sofia.

This video is the second part of her metamorphosis from 1980 to Today, including her state visits and holidays with Prince Charles, Princess Diana, Prince William, and Prince Harry. It also includes the weddings of her three children, Infanta Elena and Infanta Christina and the Wedding between Felipe VI and his wife, Queen Letizia.

The 2000s also saw the birth of her two famous granddaughters, Leonor, the Princess of Asturias and Future Queen of Spain, and Infanta Sofia, named after Queen Sofia herself.
