I have the Tekin Rx8 with the 2250 Truggy motor in my Tekno Rc losi 8t 2.0 and i am very happy with it. Same speed as my Monster Mamba with a Neu 1515 1Y motor but much smoother power delivery with the Tekin.

You might wanna check one out, just make sure not to get one from the first batch sent out back in June since the motors had an issue with the rotor. All the new ones have that issue corrected.

i'd love one of these things. finally you can get a buggy that can handle massive speed and jumps but isn't nitro. Don't get me wrong, i've got the utmost respect for people that can be bothered to run a nitro buggy, but i suppose i'm too lazy for that so electric is the go for me!

@MxRiderr157 It's the best buggy on the market and on the track. To the all the commets about the Xcelerin speed control well, you should be getting the Castle system if your serious anyway. We all know Xcelerin is only good for there 1/36 scale brushless esc. I am the fastest buggy at Norcal Hobbies every time I go.

@sjiyuey The Mamba Max Pro is a great speed control for 10th scale but the BEC is not strong enough for 1/8th scale in my opinion. I have a Monster Mamba from before i got the RX8 and it works awesome but given the choice i like the smoother power delivery of a sensored motor and the Monster is sensorless only.

yeah i have had 2 xcelorin esc and both went up in smoke after about 10 runs.one was1/10 the other was 1/8 i guess its castle and vxl for me.

i must admit awsome car to drive but the speed controller and motor a questionable one went on me already brand new out of the box after 5 lipo chargers sent it back and got a new one im crossing my fingers with this

Nice car but i would never buy one cause Losi refuses to sell it with out their questionable motor and speed control.

Hey Losi how about letting us build our own kits again and allow us to pick what brand electrics we use.

it is confirmed the xcelerin is a piece of shit and im proud to say it nice car but the system losi gives you is just not worth it...i ive sent too xcelorin's back under warranty and both went on me virtually brand new out of the box sorry losi im getting a mamba monster castle know whats going on....
