Important thing to mention - you want to be a good 50 feet away from structures or aircraft, or anything else containing steel. That also means doing this calibration on asphalt - concrete is filled with steel rebar that can affect the calibration.

What approach do you have when setting the plane to 5˚ at the start?

I get a AHARs anomaly warning occasionally. I have done the interference test but have yet to check the vibration or redo the Mag/compass swing. Any thoughts? RV7 rear mounted Mag 22 just in front of the fin (vertical stab)
