The historic center features about 4,000 architectural jewels from across the centuries.In the former Communist East Germany, Görlitz was largely neglected. Over the past 20 years, though, the historic center has been restored to its former glory. It's a favorite of visitors and also of film crews, who use the historic facades as a backdrop. Our tour takes us past a variety of spectacular Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings.
