Just to use a console player as reference: Nick Mercs started playing the game like 2 weeks ago and is Diamond 1 on PC WITH A CONTROLLER. I think the best guys in the world on Console can even reach Celestial/ Eternity and hold their own against the top 1% on PC 🤷🏻‍♂️. There is also a top 10 competitive player that plays on pc with a controller by the name of ŤTK.

I saw a lot of chatters saying "pc players have big heads" in regards to not wanting cross play, when in fact if you think about it its quite the opposite.
Controller players are fine with aim assistance, cross play, and all the other things that differ from pc gaming, they also use sub par hardware but constantly try to battle its better, they don't even like agreeing that aiming is different and that they're are assistance helping them do the aiming they are doing. but at the same time will say aiming with a mouse is too hard. Eventually it comes to a point like most gamer that have swapped from console to pc in the 95's-08's pc gamers want to actually use their skill not assistance, the reason aim assist even exists is because people in test plays of halo couldn't shoot shit, same problem people had with n64 golden eye THE HWOLE REASON YOU HAVE IT IS BECAUSE PPL Where bad at it just like they were bad at building in fortnite it takes seeing it be done for most to even know its possible.. (when they are ready since ya know most pc players where once controller players)
