Korn 'Requiem' New Album Reaction!

I just had my first play through of the new Korn album and...

Requiem is such a big love hate for me, i hate how its only 9 songs and theyre ALL 3 or barely 4 minutes long and how it feels less like an album and more like a compilation of singles if u know what i mean, but my god song by song its just like serenity of suffering but with better choruses in my opinion, and thats a big album for me, got me into korn, it has the phenomenal mixing of the last two albums, the heavy of last two and untouchables, the growls of TALITM, and a strange prettiness to it like the paradigm shift, just taking everything i love about korn and putting it into 9 unmissable tracks, also penance to sorrow instantly stuck out to me my god that song deserves way more love

just finished also, LOVE worst is on it's way, that end, it's just as good as the Freak on a leash bit. The album has a good mix of classic and modern KoRn. Yes, let the dark do the rest is gorgeous.

Honestly, as a megafan of this band that only got into them a few years ago, Requiem has absolutely exceeded my expectations. No filler all killer as a wise man once said, lost my shit when the scatting started too lol

I enjoyed this album. I think their last album is a little bit better, but I still liked this. My favorite song would have to be hopeless and beaten. I really like how the chorus sounds. It also kinda has that early nu metal sound.

I liked it, not as much as the nothing, but not bad

It´s quite good but a few songs suffered from being too formulaic, where the parts would have needed better transistions between them.
The bridge of My Confession got cut off, where it could have been way longer and build up something leading to the final chorus in a more plausible way. That was a wasted potential for my taste. Still hope they realize it and fix it at least for the live-interpretation.
