There is a reason why so many female vocalists want to collaborate with Amy, and that is, she as an amazing hypnotic voice. I would put Amy head & shoulders above Adele for having such great emotion in her voice. She is the voice of EMO, GOTH & she cannot be replaced.

You missed the fact that Ben was physically and mentally abusive to Amy and that Rocky and John were planning on ditching Amy during a break (AKA her honeymoon) so that when the band got back on the road Amy would have no guitarist or drummer; that is when Will and Troy joined the band. I'm from the UK, and the first time I heard Evanescence, I was hooked. I used to listen to the album Fallen constantly, and id bring my CD Walkman or MP3 player to school and listen to it haha. Amy's voice is something so unique, it's absolutely beautiful, powerful, something I've never heard anything quite like it. The album, and her songs and voice all hold such precious memories for me, and she got me through a lot of horrendous times that include awful bullying and an abusive relationship! ♥️

I have a good friend whose battle with depression is on going. For a while she lost her two children who were taken by her parents until she was well. The doctors prescribed a plethora of pills that some worked and some didn't. The first time I heard "Lithium" it made me cry and I think I finally understood her pain. Even at 67 years of age I learned of the terrible state of mind that some people go thru. Amy is a force to be reckoned with.
