It is interesting how its a 3d mario enemy ported to a 2d game. also, supposedly nsmbu was done by the 3d mario team in part, i think i read that in an interview somewhere.

Forgot Magmaarghs were from Galaxy 2, I mostly remember them from 3d Land. There's also another similar enemy called Charvaarghs that appear only in 3d World, Captain Toad, and Mario Maker 2

I loved the personality of the Wii U and 3DS era. Miiverse, themes, Streetpass, unique eShop music. I wish we had more of that on Switch.

The missile bill is in NSMBU and NSLU are in Roy's boss fight. But you never see them because that boss can easily be beaten and unless you are bad at the boss you will never see Roy firing them. The missile bill explodes a few seconds after fired.

Magmaarghs also appear in _Mario Party: Star Rush_ in a single minigame, I believe it’s called “Lava Labyrinth”. Magmaws don’t appear in the game at all, so I’m actually tempted to say that Magmaws are the more obscure one.

Also Magmaarghs are adorable.

I actually forgot Magmaws were in the game at some point, I mistakenly remembered Magmaarghs also being in that W8 level, it's funny how in SMG2 their behaviors were reversed, Magmaws charged forwards while Magmaarghs would lunge at you

This, foos and the munchers are the most underused enemies in both NSMBW and NSMBU.

Ah yeah, it's weird to say that munchers are barely used even if it gets used a lot in SMM.

What’s odd is that in NSMBU/NSLU, Magmaws & Magmaargs act differently than in Galaxy 2.

I’m Galaxy 2, Magmaargs rise from the lava and slam down to the platform, while Magmaws go in a straight line and never retreat in the lava.

But in NSMBU/NSLU, they’re reversed. Now it’s the Magmaws that rise up and down from the lava, and the Magmaargs rise up and go in a straight line.

The magmaars were also in 3d land on bowser's castle in world 8, the first castle (not the final castle).
