Wicked to see browsers getting this with actual API’s. I remember the “good” old days of using jQuery plugins… I do not miss it. But nostalgic in a way 😂

Things that remind you browsers are desktop applications that we're hooking the internet up to. Browsers have to be very careful about doing anything on the users machine (file uploads use a virtual proxy file system), but I'm always enamored with these sorts of features.

For those who use windows, you can just use Microsoft powertoys.

Firefox on windows has this built in. Only in the browser window, but I never needed it anywhere else.
