Mexican culture is much more relaxed. You need to be way out of bounds to have anybody call the cops on you. We always try to resolve any minor issues amongst ourselves. Calling the cops is the very last thing you do.

Hola amigo, how are you? I hope you still like Mexico, by the way I'm from Aguascalientes city, Aguascalientes. It's approximately 3 hours from Querétaro and it's a beautiful place, whenever you have a chance go to visit it, I guarantee it, it's a lovely town, lots of traditions, beautiful whether, delicious food, history and architecture. I hope we can chat one day, it's awesome all the things that you do for a good cause. Have a great week, and sorry for my English I do the best I can but I'm still learning

Excellent content! I have a stack of semifuntioning phones.. Too bad those stores are rare and when I do find them, they charge at least $95 US dollars..
Thanks for sharing!

Also it is much better for the environment not to keep throwing out perfectly decent equipment
but in the U.S. we are pretty much FORCED to CONSTANTLY "upgrade" which means throwing out perfectly good equipment.

There used to be a mall like this on Chicago's north side. I shopped there a few times in the late 80s. It's long gone now. Until I saw this video, I had forgotten about that mall.

I feel a kinship with those folk already!! I always try to repair first, replace last. I appreciate their tenacity in all ways🤔

There's something very similar in Miami. Just west of the Miami Airport. 75 stores that sell only technology items. I buy all my cell phones there. All phones are unlocked. About 10 of those stores also do repairs.

But really, most people that shop there are retailers from Latin America, cause the prices are around wholesale. The only difference is that it's a strip mall instead of an indoor one like we see here. I would love to roam this technology market in Queretaro. Looks like a safe place to shop.

It's like every kiosk in American malls all smashed into one store

I repair everything I can here in the US. I think it's important to repair what you have and appreciate it. The act of repairing is good for critical thinking.

A security guard would of called the cops on you for not obeying and the cops would of curb stomped you.

He said " they were told you cannot record until you get permission ".

Usually in the US even speeaking the same language things usually end in a bad discussion or the mall cop trying to detain you for any posible reason.
