Exploring Actually Feels Rewarding in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown?! Hidden Roads, Items & More

What’s up Everyone!! In this video I talk about the Exploration in Test Drive Unlimited and How fun it is. I actually think they completely nailed this compared to other racing games!! You can basically cruise around and explore every district (there are 14 of those) and each one has hidden wreck locations and items like Solar coins and XP pieces you can grab!! One of the other things I really like is how there are legit hidden roads that don't show up on your map until you discover them, some are off-road trails that really take you on an adventure!! It rewards you in some way. But of course like th rest of the game specific " TDU things" are missing like more detailed car dealers, nice different tuningshops, clothing stores and cosmetic clinics.
The game world looks nice for screenshots but for wanting to be HK its rather bland: It has no variety in traffic cars, no ships, planes or trams moving around. And yes, i think Pedestrians should be a living thing in this game like in NfS Unbound or Driver SF.
But wanting that plus a real refelction and lighting system is something the KT engine probably cant handle...

Exploring was all I did in the demo because I had no interest in multiplayer races (yeah, yeah, I know, 95% of the time, you're only racing against AIs) but I also enjoyed exploring the maps in the classic TDU games, including the Playstation 2 version of the original Test Drive Unlimited, despite the same couple of dozen buildings being repeated over and over.

Cruising in TDUSC's HKI is WAY better than cruising in Motorfest's beautiful-but-downgraded Hawaii not to mention Unbound's ugly version of Chigaco lmao

What makes TDU more unique is its ability to brand new location I don’t know any game what’s been to hon Kong island bit surprised it’s ibiza next as they could of done Singapore as it’s in the same region etc but honestly this map small compared to the first TDU unlimited game that map took forever to find all the roads plus you can’t really compare motorfest or need for speed to this

I want to get myself an open world racing game, but dont want to pay for more than one. Currently not sure if i should for motorfest or tdsc ... both have positive and begative thingsbsaid about them here onbthe internet.. obviously... ibfind it hard to decide which one i would have more fun playing

Gotta shout out the huge number of parked cars in this game. imo it's better than restricting more of the map to have more pedestrians.

itd be rewarding if the game didnt keep tsking 3 little chunks of the roads away from me every time i load in, im stuck at 99% and its really annoying me

God I'm so glad SC is coming tommorow. This new roadmap for Sh-tfest is disgusting and I regret playing today's Summit, I mean really? THAT is supposed to be a game's birthday?!

Forza Horizon 2 on the xbone looks better than this on the series X. Had to get a refund on this. Could not take this graphics. Hopefully they will update. May purchase again.
