The GUADALAJARA ZOO is IMPRESSIVE!!

You guys told us we just HAD to see the Guadalajara Zoo, so we set off on an adventure. We didn't know what to expect at a Mexican zoo!

Despite us both having been to numerous zoos all over the United States, we were so impressed by this one in GDL! With all the animals, the aquarium, and the awesome experiences, it might even be our favorite zoo ever. It may even be the best zoo in Mexico! We'll have to continue visiting others to see. Of all the Guadalajara fun things to do, Zoológico y Acuario Guadalajara is now #1 on our list.

Hopefully all zoos around the world take a page from the Guadalajara zoo's book and make themselves beautiful in the future! Amazing to see the beautiful conditions of this zoo for its inhabitants. Big props to them! Keep it up!

It was so cool to see the giraffe. It reminded me of an experience at a zoo back home.
My daughter was about a year and a half old, sitting in her stroller and as we were stopped at the giraffe enclosure a giraffe leaned over the rail and licked my startled baby's face. She too said the giraffe had a rough tongue "a big old kitty tongue" was her response once she stopped laughing and shrieking.
It looks like you had fun but I couldn't possibly see even half of it in one day.
Ah, to be young again. Glad you two are not living out that saying "youth is wasted on the young".

I laughed so hard watching this, can't believe you were less than a mile away from me (I live 5 minutes walking from the Zoo). I forgot to advise you about the food, you can take your own and eat it in the grass, like it was a picnic.

Vayan a Tapalpa, tengo cabaña allá y hay lugares muy bonitos y divertidos cerca, está la cascada del nogal, cascadas de chiquilistlán, las piedrotas, vuelo en parapente, tirolezas y mucha comida típica.

That's a zoo! <3 I work at the Saint Louis Zoo. We're about 90 acres, so not nearly as big as this, but we are AZA accredited, have free street parking and never charge an admission fee. Plus many of our most popular attractions are free in the first hour! We're well worth the visit for a real taste of St. Louis! My favorite thing about us is that we can educate inner city youth about animals and conservation. With as great of a value as this zoo is, I bet it does a lot of great education too!

I haven't been to this Zoo since I was 10. I'm 37 now, and it's so much better! I'm so proud of my city. At the risk of being offensive, this Zoo is better that of Mexico City. The Chapultepec Zoo is also beautiful (and it has a great history) but this one is more sophisticated (then again, Chapultepec is admission free) and there's REALLY something unique about Guadalajara that no other city in Mexico has. It's not just this beautiful Zoo (it's hard to explain) Lol. Thanks for this video, TT! This is truly the best Zoológico Guadalajara vídeo I've seen so far (you really do this jem justice). I was planning to take my kids to San Diego zoo but you guys made me chance my mind I will take them to Guadalajara zoo this coming year. Thanks Maddie and Jordan.
