Thank you for sharing a realistic, clear and authentic breakdown. Your final moments - do you want to light yourself on 🔥 - had me laughing and sighing with relief that yes Design Portfolios are intense to create & present but are very doable and even fun! I’m so glad this video was recommended in my feed. ❤

Helpful video. As a creative director and graphic designer, it only make sense that your self promotion should be a “designed experience” as well. Thanks for sharing and greetings from the philippines 😊

This is one of the most helpful interview/portfolio videos I have come across. Definitely studying this!! Thank you so much! Also, I actually created my entire portfolio website on Figma too & was planning on sharing the prototype with possible employers - so I was super happy when you mentioned that hack!

I had an interview recently, after years of not interviewing, and I wish I would have seen this beforehand. This was SO INFORMATIVE! One of the best videos I've seen so far on interviewing as a designer. Definitely using these tips for my next interview. Thank you so much!

Love this strategic approach to structuring ideas, as a CD in the digital industry we tend to do so much, with your direction it makes sense on how to pick those Top 5 (or 8 hehe)

I am following your lead to become a Graphic Designer and I am already excited. What do you think about somebody with experience in another visual-related field (such as illustration) should show or not when presenting herself for a Design position. Should I include my work as illustrator? In what extent? Should I put the emphasis on Design and leave for last (or in between, maybe) projects what I love/worked as an illustrator? I am curious to know! Many thanks for your suggestions in advance. :)

loved the video! i have an interview coming up and they requested me to walkthrough 2 of my most relevant projects. it is an entry level position so i don’t have too much experience but i do have relevant work for the first project i want to present. im debating for my second project if i should follow that same theme or present something else that highlights my other skills! what do you think?

I've never done an interview, I get hired thanks to other clients recommendations or friends working for a particular company with a current need for a designer. Usually as freelance. I'll shit myself if I ever have to do an interview. I'll stutter and shit and I'll forget how I conceive my own work when I have to explain it.
