What are Yokai?
There's a common misconception about Yokai, saying they are the demons of Japan. In Western Folklore, demons are supernatural creatures that exist independently. In JApan, Yokai are the physical, living representation of an otherwise inexplicable phenomenon. Not only that, they can be both good and evil. In other words, while in the west demons are simply creatures, in Japan Yokai are more akin to spirits that can represent any actual event. They can be anywhere, be careful.
