This camera is a great investment for a small fashion brand.

Honestly alot of people say the drawbacks (lack of microphone port, mediocre built in microphone quality, no dedicated flash, and no real hand grip, etc) mean that the S9 isn't worth the $1800 price; but the accessibility, LUT feature, portability, and overall video and image quality and style, honestly makes up for it. Plus there are workarounds for most of them anyways.
For videographers and amateur movie makers, while I wouldn't recommend it as a first camera, I'd definitely add it to the list.

You know… I don’t get why most camera companies don’t include, preset and lut features into their cameras like how fujifilm film emulations is. It would help turn around projects way faster tbh

Nikons may not have a lut button but capture one is on par or even better than Lightroom, depending on who you ask

It shoots 12 bit only no shutter slow read speed on the sensor you can't use it for events you can't use it for real-estate you can't use it for real-estate video or wedding videos most lights in buildings now are LED lights you can't use it for professional use it doesn't have a hot shoe either

big fan of the L Mount... but this camera doesn't have a hot shoe... it's literally just a cold shoe... and for $300 less than the S5ii i would grab an S5ii or Sigma FP any day... i don't know what Panasonic was thinking (of course i do they want the Fuji crowd who loves their fake film looks)
