I’ve lost so much in my life. This really touched home. Most beautiful song I have ever heard. I just remarried at 65 to the man who is in this video. 2 years now and this song is dedicated to us, to our lives. He’s a note giver, and it makes me feel so loved. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My Grandfather adored my Grandmother. They were married for 64 years, and knew each other for 66 years. Watching her slowly succumb to dementia over a decade was gut-wrenching. I dont know how he made it through her funeral, but he went on to age 92. They were amazing people, and taught everyone they knew what true love is. This endearingvideo, and superb song, reminds me of them.

What a beautiful message. My mom is fighting a rare form of cancer called GIST and has been given weeks to a year to live. She’s fighting it but I can see how much pain she’s in. She’s the strongest woman I know and it’s true that forever is not long enough. I know that when God calls her home, I’ll see her again one day, it’s just hard not to be selfish and want her with me until it’s my time. God bless every one out there who is fighting this ugly disease or knows or has lost someone they love to it.

I lost my lifemate in January, this year and have missed her so much and cant wait to be with her again. I have taken the theme of this song and am having a plaque to put in front of our headstone, all ready in place. I it will read Forever, is not enough, Wayne & Lilah, Sept 2, 1960--Eternity.

My father died a 77. My Mother lived on to 93. She left me a box of letter between her and my father during WW2.I set it aside, not thinking much about it. Until now. I will forever cherish their love and hope mine will be a fruitful.

Lost my wife to cancer 11 years ago. The most painful thing ever. She filed for divorce and 5 months later died. We never divorced and will never know why or understand why she did that. It's taken years for me and my children to try and heal. My children still hurt and are slowly getting better. Family is what is most important so don't ever lose sight of that. Truly live each day with meaning and compassion because life is short. God has blessed me with someone to share the rest of my life with and I am humbled. God always has our hand as we walk in life, we just need to believe.

One of my faves!! beautiful!!! I’m singing it (very poorly) for my little grand angels before I go home so they can remember how much their GiGi loves them!! I just can’t make it sound pretty enough!! GENTRI has been a massive blessing to me and gets me through each day! I’m forever grateful for them and sharing their pitch perfect songs! And one of the members is from Northern Ireland where my ancestors haled so big big brownie points there! Ha ha. Even better his brother is the drummer for my favorite band, Snow Patrol. This is so beautiful! The story itself is not wholly unexpected but what is truly beautiful is the love that the actors portrayed: not just through the letters (the value of which we should never overlook) but through their interactions and even the way they just looked at each other. If you told me they were happily married in real life, both the older and younger versions, I would totally believe it. Together with the song and Gentri's voices, this was a powerful love story.

This video is by far the greatest of the GENTRI videos. I’ve watched it numerous times over the space of many months, had this song sung at my father’s funeral service and the video still touches me deeply and brings me to tears. The love between a husband and wife is so sacred, and this video displays that extremely well. As I find myself celebrating 25 years with my wife, I pray for God’s blessings of many years together to come. BRAVO GENTRI! This one is spectacular!!

We often take our relationships for granted, caught up in the daily hustle and bustle of life. But when we have a moment to reflect, it becomes evident whet really matters. I cannot imagine how I would go on if I lost my wife. She is more than my mate, she is part of me and I suspect that part would die along with her!!!

I’ve watched this video several times and it makes me cry each time! What a wonderful song and marvelous video! While it feels like we are “never enough”, we are enough if we have done our level best. Then we can turn it over to God to make up for the difference. But yes, eternity will not be long enough for those we love. I just want to be grateful every minute for arms that reach out in a hug and kindness from loved ones. And I just want to do my all to be kind and loving to family, friends, and neighbors. Then it is enough.
