I kind of feel privileged to have been old enough to have experienced the original Titanic phenomenon. If one wasn't around back then, one can't really truly grasp what that movie was and what it became to so many people. Wow, this is weird to be talking about a movie this way, like it was a life event. Weird and a little lame, but even more so - amazing!

Great video. I was an extra in Titanic and it was great fun. Can't believe it was 0ver 20 years ago now! I'm in the lifeboat with Cal (Billy Zane) and I'm also a floating dead guy when the rescuers are coming back for you Kate. Thanks for these great memories.

It's incredible how much I love this movie, even after having watched it more than literally 100 times by now. Unfortunately I never got to watch it at the cinema, but the first time I watched I was around 9 or 10, so around 2000. I was having a 2 day sleepover with a couple of friends and she had rented Titanic. I loved the movie from the very first minutes and bawled my eyes out. I remember I couldn't stop watching it, had already watched about 15 times and couldn't get tired of it. I called several stores to see if they had the VHS for sale and couldn't find it, so I begged my mother to buy from our local video store (she knew the owner) and after a few days of grovelling and nagging she agreed and I watched it God knows how many times. Some months later, afraid of watching so much to the point of getting tired of the movie, I made a promise to myself I'd only watch it once a year, and I've been doing it so for 17 years now. It's amazing how much this movie still gets me every single time. Leo steals my heart and their love story is one of the best fiction has ever created. (And I secretly hope someday Leo and Kate get married, but that's just wishful thinking...)
