Before class, Flick and Schwartz argue over what would happen should someone stick their tongue to a frozen flag pole, engaging in a delicate nuance of phrase during which Schwartz dares Flick to stick his tongue to the pole. But as Flick sticks his tongue out to the pole, complication ensues for the poor boy.

I went to Disneyland last month with my family. My 24 year old sister wanted a popsicle and they told her to wait a few minutes before eating it because it was stored in dry ice and very cold. She didn’t listen, and in the middle of a conversation with her friends she licks it and gets her tongue stuck. It was hilarious recreation of this scene.

I always lose it when Schwartz goes, "Woah! Geez! It really worked!"
Everyone else is horrified that Flick's tongue is stuck, and Schwartz is just giddy with fascination that a person's tongue really can get stuck like that and that his bluff worked.

Watched this movie my first time in maybe 1993, ever since then this has aired every Christmas on TBS from Christmas Eve night until noon Christmas Day. And it never gets old I literally watch the movie 3 or 4 times back to back and enjoy it.
