1955 Ariel Red Hunter 500 build part 5 quick update.

This is a quick update on the progress so far. I've come up against a couple of snags in trying to use a Royal Enfield rear wheel to cut the build time. Not difficult to get around, but the time and money could have been better spent on building up the correct wheel in the first place. Very soon it will be time to strip it down to the bare frame to finish the paintwork before the final assembly.

Coming along well ! I am at about the same stage with my old A10. Spent the weekend on the lathe turning up fasteners out of stainless steel scraps. Stainless is the way to go.

Looking good, I guess you will need to adjust a really gearing at the engine or you might be well over geared?
