Bodycam: Drunk Woman Literally Knocks the Lights Out on New Jersey Street

Bodycam footage shows the moments surrounding an intense drunk-driving crash that left an entire block in New Jersey without power on March 5, 2023. Long Branch police said Lucia Silva admitted to having two drinks before crashing into a power line, yanking the pole out of the ground. Silva couldn’t remember her phone number and officers had a tough time communicating with her as she only spoke Portuguese. I live near Long Branch. For everyone’s safety, that woman should not have an American driver’s license until she is able to understand our English driving regulations and until she can read English street signs. I already lost a loved one due to a careless driver. This is unacceptable.
