I also really like how its implied that its extremely customizable, with the ability to pair old armor with the gen3 suits (cross core helmets and shoulders basically)
Its a good way to explain how mark V (b), and now mark IV, is still being used. Its the same physical armor just upgraded with the latest software and shielding. I run mark vii with the cqb helmet from mark v (b) personally and sometimes i dont like how its different generations but i can forgive it bc of how seemingly open source gen3 is

The self repair is really cool but not explained much, in the rubicon protocol stones armour is damaged and her shield is next to gone, but it wasnt able to be repaired so there are limits

Mk 7 is glorious! looks so sick! As amazing as the armor is though, those poor spartans were all hunted and outmatched on the ring. 😅😔 still not a spartan II, but damn cool though! Cosmetically, i absolutely love mk7 and it's so versatile! 343 did a great job with it! 😎👍🏻🫡
