Alco S-6 Smoke Show

Railserve Inc. RSSX 1008 Alco S-6 puts on a smoke show as it lugs on a cut of loaded glycol cars at MEGlobal's ethylene glycol loading facility in Blackfalds, Alberta.

Nice!! This was the main reason I got the Bachmann S4...it will be the dedicated switcher for my intermodal yard. Love the Alco turbo whine too.

I was driving it today. So its still in service and still using the same remote. All inspections and cab card are up to date. Its at Duagh.

The remote is a portable Catron MP96QC.

We also have 1003.

Lol, cool! I painted that loco. I did about 4 or 5 of them for Dow back in the day. It's quite dirty in this video, but it's painted with Endura catalyzed polyurethane paint. A good bath with detergent and they shine like new. The first one I did was a little different style (a bigger loco) and I even clear coated that one. I painted them in one of the old car washes at Dow Ft. Sask.
